In addition to the popular “Transfusion Medicine Question of the Day” and weekly news updates, we are excited to announce a new collaboration. Transfusion News and Dr. Joe Chaffin, the “Blood Bank Guy” from BBGuy.org, have joined forces to bring you the best possible combination of transfusion medicine educational content and current news. “Blood Bank Guy,” founded in 1998, is dedicated to providing learners the basics of transfusion medicine. The site is also the home of the “Blood Bank Guy Essentials Podcast,” Dr. Chaffin’s award-winning biweekly interview series heard by more than 10,000 listeners around the world every month. The most recent Blood Bank Guy Essentials Podcast episodes are now featured on the Transfusion News homepage, and the latest Transfusion News updates are highlighted on BBGuy.org. In addition, Transfusion News plans to launch an exciting new educational feature in collaboration with Blood Bank Guy this fall that will be formally announced soon.
